RoboForm files can be automatically sent by email as attachments, as the program will automatically detect the local email client. Pluses: A feature that I personally liked a lot was the thing that you can set the program to log off after a certain period of idle time this is an extra security measure which prevents disclosure of data due to the fact that you forgot to close it. First, backup your Roboform passcards in case you want to go back to Roboform 7 (for any reason), as the upgrade translates your existing passcards (logins) to the new Roboform 8 format, and is therefore irreversible. You can set the program to show a toolbar on the bottom side of the browser or you can access it from the Windows tray. Another data protection feature is the option to create/and restore backups of your files. I tested the program using Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox browsers and it worked like a charm.

You can use this program with any browser. When the RoboForm Save Forms dialog box appears you will have the opportunity to provide a different name for the Passcard, select the location for the Passcard to be stored (folder in RoboForm) and overwrite or update an existing Passcard if one exists for that site. You can store small protected text in the 'Safenotes' section: this is very helpful when you need to add comments to different passcards. The program stores your form completion data divided into three sections: the 'Logins' section stores your user names and passwords, the 'Identities' section will store personal data such as name, phone numbers, business information, banking information, addresses, etc. In Windows OS, this file is located in /AppData/local/RoboForm.
